First Post

Hey guys, here’s some official-sounding stuff on what we do and why:

First, a little insight on why we, The Super Bugs, chose Blogger from the many free blog-hosting services. We believe at commending superior technological and user-friendly ability, which Blogger has hands down. Since we do our homework here at Superhero services, we researched three blog sites for our potential blog: Blogger, LiveJournal, and WordPress. While all sites proclaim to be free, and they have many similarities, from Terms of Services to gadgets such as image uploading, customized templates, links, groups, and search engines, we are Superheroes as well as computer technicians, and there are social and philosophical qualities that are undeniably important.
LiveJournal, while an excellent means of social networking with its’ profiles and use of “friends” does not make a completely appropriate site for business, particularly because it is primarily a blog-site for users to upload their personal journals, whose demographic is not one which may be concerned with scrolling for computer-repair businesses. In addition, while Blogger makes use of AdSense to bring in necessary revenue, it is optional that the users put it on their blogs, which LiveJournal initially promised to do, but now is no longer true. Finally, with the distasteful scandals attributed LiveJournal in May 2007, whether it is unfortunately not at the fault of the site or otherwise, we cannot allow our business to be associated with, indirectly notwithstanding.
WordPress has nothing so unpleasant regarding it, besides some security issues involving an exploitable code used as a back door to one of their web servers, making the system vulnerable. This problem was fixed, and we dig how they name each upgrade after jazz musicians, nevertheless such history could cause caution in our intended customers, who are by nature endearingly afraid of computer risk.
So in the end, we went with Blogger because it lacks these issues and are thus more suited to the people we wish to help! It is the most unpretentious, just like us!

On to the fun stuff!
